Since 2009, the horses have been working with precision to maintain the vines of Château Pape Clément. "La Pirogue" is a specific tool invented by Château Pape Clément. This modern straddle towed by animal force allows high precision work on more than 30 hectares of vines. Thanks to the gentle work of the horse, it limits the earthwork of the soil, ensures better oxygenation and thus preserves the plant heritage. The Pirogue, is a return to ancestral traditions.
