Basterd Hyacinth (Bluebells)

Bluebells is a real forest plant of moist, calcareous, humous soil. The flowers are often visited by bumblebees and hover flies.
She flowers in April and May.
Her bell-shaped flowers that are usually blue, sometimes white or pink can turn the entire forest floor blue.
Research has shown that the populations of bluebells in the Netherlands are actually crosses of the wild and the Spanish hyacinth. That is why the bluebell has recently been called bastard hyacinth.
