In the past I have had problems shooting the moon because my then gimbal could not handle the weight of larger lenses and would creep down as I shot the picture. I saved up and purchased a new Wimberley WH-200 Gimbal and Man what a difference, I had never been able to capture the craters before, they had always been blurred out because of the way the old gimbal creeped.

Location
This picture was taken in my driveway using a Canon M50 and a Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM LensTime
It was nighttime obviously, but I am unable to give a exact time as my computer lost a hard drive last year and I lost many of my photos including this one.Lighting
I was in a small villages, 295 people so there were some lights but not many.Equipment
Canon M50 and a Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM Lens, Wimberley WH-200 Gimbal Tripod Head II with Quick Release Base. Just some information I found online for settings and then I tweaked them to my liking.Inspiration
I had tried taking moon shots in the past but had not had very good luck. Learning more about controlling light with aperture gave me the confidence to go out and try it again as well as the new gimbal.Editing
I do some post processing, at this time I was using either Luminar Neo or Luminar 4 and at a very basic level, editing is still something I am struggling with, ADD/ADHD makes some things difficult to learn but I am coming along ever so slowly. :DIn my camera bag
Camera, lenses, Tiffen filters, filter wrenches, remote trigger, spirit level and so on.Feedback
Oh man advise, I have only been at this a few years and am not all together confident in giving advise to be perfectly honest. Lets see, plan in advance, if you are also disabled plan around what special measures you may have to take to accommodate yourself ahead of time. Standing is a major issue for me so I like to bring some kind of seat to relieve pain caused by standing, I find it helps me compose better when I am not rushing to get through the shot because I am hurting. Try out new stuff, never thought I would enjoy landscape as much as I do.
