I am trying to learn how to use the different functions of my camera, I walked on down to Seneca Mills Falls, in Penn Yan, NY on the Outlet Trail. This is the former site of the old Seneca Mill. I took several pictures playing with the different speeds and blur, I like the way this one turned out the most. This is a raw picture with no tweeks of any form.

I took this picture at the Seneca Mills Falls on the Outlet Trail that runs between Penn Yan, New York (Stands for Pennsylvania Yankee who helped settle the area) and Dresden, New York which was named after Dresden Germany. Penn Yan is home to one of the oldest mills in the United States, Birkett Mills founded in 1797 Birkett Mills produces Buckwheat products, primarily Buckwheat Pancake mixes. Seneca Mills was once the site of a paper mill was built in 1884 The mill produced heavy wrapping paper, sugar bags and book paper. At one point in time the mill also produced electricity used to light the streets of Penn Yan.Time
The picture was taken at 3:28 in the afternoon on August 28 and was shot freehand.Lighting
It was a very bright day and people were swimming in the creek and around the Falls.Equipment
I used a Canon eos M50 3/10 sec. f/29 25mm ISO was set at 100 the Dimensions of the photo are 6000 x 4000 I was using a Tiffen 49mm UV Protection Filter and Canon Lens Hood EW-53 on the Canon EF-M 15-45mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM that came with the kit.Inspiration
I had won the camera and when I got it I was actually disappointed because it did not have the zoom I thought it would and I did not do much with it at first as I had wanted to do wildlife photography. For some reason just decided it was horrible to just have it sitting around doing nothing so I went out and decided to take a picture of this falls as well as another falls on the trail and after seeing the results I realized I had been missing out by not using it. I found out by playing around that I could take some wonderful landscapes as well and have been working on that and recently I also bought the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM Lens and will finally be able to get some of those wildlife shots I wanted to take in the first place.Editing
No, I do have some other copies that I did some with but just liked the original more.In my camera bag
I just bought a backpack and have added some cleaning items, extra memory card, a couple of Photographers Triangle cheat sheets as I am still learning, an extra battery, the camera and both lenses and covers for the lenses.Feedback
I have no right to give anybody any advise, I am still learning. I guess the one thing I would say is go out there and give it a try, I did not think I would like the camera because it did not have the major zoom I wanted for wildlife photography and I let it sit in the box for a year and a half, but by trying something new I found there were other types of photography I like as well. I hope to try some Lightbox pictures and some Macro in the future as well as astronomical photos as well.
