I just bought a new Canon EF 100-400mm f-4.5-5.6L IS II USM Lens and was practicing with it. Unfortunately it was windy and I left my up close glasses upstairs or this would be better. These were my former landladies flowers, she passed away a few years ago but they still come up to remind me of her.

The photo was taken in my deceased landladies old flower garden. It is sad to see the new landlords had not taken care of her flower gardens up to that point. They claim they will next year. I hope so because I am disabled and can't do it.Time

I had gotten my new lens in a week previous and the weather and being sick had prevented me from trying it out and on this day I decided to go out and take some pictures of her flowers before they died out. She so loved her flowers, I wish I were able to take care of them myself.Editing

Go and have fun, don't try to make it look like the magazine shots, that is a deathtrap for new people and almost made me quit because I didn't know anything about editing when I started. Don't be afraid of constrictive criticism and learn to tell the difference between that and people just being jerks.
