Animal Action Portrait photography. A Meerkat , captured whilst on his watch on top of the hill at the Welsh Mountain Zoo Meerkat enclosure. The original image was taken in colour but I liked the contrast achieved between the high key background and his black shining , alert eyes of a black and white edit as i feel it adds to the detail of his facial expression.
