I have a love for German shepherds and Margie my friend who owns Jen wanted me to do a few shots of her. Which I was really excited to do as I enjoy capturing pets doing what they do best and loving the outdoorsEditing
With editing process I do a layer at a time and build from there. Enhancing textures and colours was my main aim. Then adjusting the background to blur it bit more to make Jen stand out more and be the focal point with out any distractions from the backgroundIn my camera bag

With dogs I don't believe in making them stand and pose for periods of a time. I prefer to be their personal paparazzi and take natural in the moment shots. Take rapid shots and plenty of them. Also capture them at different height levels. Don't think of the perfect shot and be hung up on getting it. Relax and shoot away. Enjoy being with the dogs and have fun.
