I took this photo at one my favourite restaurants I went to for a friend's birthday, I always make sure i have room for dessertTime
It was late afternoon I remember correctlyLighting
The light in the restaurant was just the right brightness had a golden glow to it which really makes pictures more interestingEquipment
I use my Sony Xperia 1 ii and the professional camera thats built inInspiration
Everyone loves dessert.. It came out and I thought how well presented it was from the build up of the biscuit, cake and ice cream to the chocolate drizzled and the crumbles of honey comb. It was just one those images soon as it came out had to take a pictureEditing
Had to use my Adobe photoshop app to give it more of a definition and to take glare of the plate so that the focus was more on the dessert and design of it.. I changed the contrast, clarity dehaze, and the sharpness also the noise reduction, I blurred the background so the focus was on the dessert, and then adjusted the light exposure to get the golden feel of the light that was in the restaurantIn my camera bag
I use my Sony Xperia 1 ii phone but also use my nikon D5000 Camera for wildlife and nature shotsFeedback
I always take about 10 photos or more of what I want by doing different angles, with flash or without, and then adjusted photos with photo editing which is one thing really enjoyed doing as that's where you definitely make it your own just be careful about over editing sometimes simple adjustments is all you need but I always do a few in different style. You can take a photo shot of same thing 50 times but end up with that one shot that makes you say '' I got it ''.. And that's when you know you have achieved what you wanted and its a great feeling..
