We were in Mendecino the weekend that the Maverick's contest was held down in Halfmoon Bay in which several spectators were Injured when a sneaker wave flooded the spectator area(2098?). This was the same swell, just a few hundred miles further north. The "barrel" of this wave is about 7 feet.
