This is just one of many miniature wooden carousel horses hand carved in the 1980's by the father of a fellow Viewbugger, nina050. His career as a gifted veterinarian led Dr. Charles Irvin into discovering his passion for carving beautiful objects out of both wood and stone. This is just one of many examples of his outstanding creations. In addition to approximately 15 miniatures such as this, he also carved 3 life-sized carousel horses that remain as treasured family heirlooms.
