Calle del Oso (Street of the Bear), is a narrow street in the old neighborhood of Madrid called Barrio de las Letras (Literary Quarter). The Literary Quarter or Barrio de las Letras, was home to great 17th-century writers like Lope de Vega, whose house is now a museum with period artworks and a courtyard garden. Today’s cultural scene covers classic plays at Teatro Español and live flamenco at tablao dinner theaters. Small cafes and beer halls open onto lively terraces in Plaza de Santa Ana, and chic bistros and boutiques line surrounding cobbled narrow street like the one shown in the photo. The Literally quarter has a vibrant life, specially at night, it is with visiting.

I like most results from monochrome. Just at tad darker and you would really hit it.

Wonderful, sharp image, great composition. I appreciate the information you always give accompanying your photos. It makes me realize, however, that I probably missed a lot during the brief two-day stay in some of these locations. I did, however, enjoy the sense of "time travel" back several hundred years ago by walking down some of these streets that you capture so well in your photos.
