I woke up that morning and saw it had snowed. I was so excited, and wanted to take advantage of it before it melted. This was taken around 10am.Lighting
We had just had a good snow. I threw a hat on my daughter, and put one of my sweaters on her and said, let’s go! The snow makes the lighting brighter, so it lit areas of her face beautifully.Equipment
Canon 5D Mark 4 with a 70-200 lens no tripod or flash.Inspiration
The snow! I live in Tennessee, so we don’t get a lot of snow. I was so excited when it snowed and wanted to see if I could get some cute shots!Editing
Yes. Just some basic hand editing in photoshop. Added contrast, raised shadows, dodge and burn.In my camera bag
I love my Canon 5D Mark IV. My usual go to lens is a canon 70-200, but I also have a 50mm, an 18-105, and a 100-400.Feedback
Just get out there and take pictures. Play around. My favorite place to take pictures of subjects is in the road in front of my house. People always think I’m crazy when I’m taking them, but when the see the finished product, they love it. I would never have thought to do that, but one day I was playing around and found that it was the perfect place!
