Thank you very much. This was my first try at this type of blending.

Behind The Lens

Location

Both of these photos were taken out in Yellowstone National Park and the then put together in Photoshop.

Time

Most of my shooting was from about 11 am to about 6pm

Lighting

Natural Sun light.

Equipment

Nikon D7000 and an 80 - 400 mm Nikon lens

Inspiration

I have seen similar artwork in many places. After seeing them I thought I would give it a try.

Editing

Yes ,a lot actually. First, I turned the buffalo shot black and white then super imposed the river shot (near the fishing bridge) over the buffalo.

In my camera bag

Nikon D7000, Nikon zoom lenses 80 - 400mm and 18 - 105mm. sometimes a mono pod.

Feedback

Just think about and plan this type of shot before you go shoot it. The animal and scenic need to be in the right place in your frame to work.
