This is the Kinkaku-ji Temple. It is referred to as the golden temple because of it's color. The temple itself is very nice not only because of it's color but also because of the traditional Japanese architecture with all it's details. The lake and the lovely gardens surrounding the temple make the whole scene just wonderful.
