This photo was taken East Anglia in Suffolk England U.K!Time
This photo was taken before Dust!Lighting
The lighting was typical cold winter Dull kind of day rather over cast with some cloud but the what made the shot interesting is the fact that there was an amazing woodland backdrop with all the autumn leaves that have fallen from the trees that made for an amazing ideal backdrop! The Autumn Colours were beautiful! Vibrant and made the subject really stand out!Equipment
For this photo I shot it fully handheld laying down on my belly to get the real low angle perspective! I used my Nikon D500 with the Nikon 200-500mm F5.6 VR lens!Inspiration
I have a real passion for Photography especially when it comes to Birds of Prey! I love all types of Birds but Owls in particular really fascinate me so much! I love the beautiful patterns on owls and I just think they make such beautiful photos! Whenever I see an owl I just think it’s a truly lucky, Magical Experience! It can take a lot of patience until you will set eyes on an amazing bird like this but when you do it’s just mind blowing and something that I feel as a photographer will never be forgotten!Editing
For this particular shot I did very very little in terms of processing the image! The photo came straight out of the camera really well with hardly any need for processing or editing! I always shoot in Raw Format and I really try my hardest to dial in the correct exposure setting for a photo so I don’t have to spend time editing and processing the image! I tend to like to keep things very natural with very minimal editing or processing! For this shot maybe just a very little ending such as cropping and and boosting the saturation levels up a little and that’s about it!In my camera bag
I always have in my bag the Nikon D500 camera body which I find is a great Camera very responsive and fast with 10FPS in continuous shooting mode which is great and more unless gives me the option to catch fast action subjects! I also always carry my go to lens for bird photography which is the Nikon 200-500mm F5.6 VR this lens is extremely versatile and the quality of the optics are fantastic! I tend to always have my faith little Nikon 35mm 1.8 Lens very good for low light and portrait shots! 6 Batteries Cleaning Kit Monopod iPad Decent fast CF Card Decent fast SD Card Something to eat and drinkFeedback
