Tears of joy were rolling down, I felt a bit connected to this snow-capped mountain.
I'm not sure how-why, but I felt blessed amidst the snow-capped, picturesque mountains and glacier meltwater gushing in the River Lidder.
This is Chandanwari, famous as the base, or starting point, for the famous Hindu pilgrimage site, Shri Amarnath Yatra.
There on the left side is the registration camp for the mountain hike.
