Location
This photo was taken at the Thunder and Lightning Over Arizona air show in Tucson, AZ.Time
It was taken around mid-day.Lighting
The light was challenging since the sun was blazing and, of course, the action was taking place in the sky. I spent half my time being blinded by the sun while tracking the action.Equipment
This was shot with a Canon R5 with a 100-500mm lens and 1.4x extender. Handheld.Inspiration
I loved the pattern and colors being left by the jumper and the way it looked against the very blue skyEditing
I did some basic color adjustmentIn my camera bag
I don't typically carry a bag, I find them bulky and annoying. I'm usually out taking pictures of birds and other wildlife and I spend a lot of time crawling around on the ground. I generally load up my pockets with spare batteries, cards, and a lens cleaning cloth.Feedback
Air shows are a great place to get a ton of amazing pictures. Be prepared to visit your chiropractor the next day, my neck always hurts something fierce from pointing a camera up over my head all day long.
