Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my backyard of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It was our first frost and this purple coneflower stood tall, proudly displaying it's chilly glitter

Time

In a rush to beat the morning sunshine, I took this in my slippers.

Lighting

In the pre dawn light the echinacea just seemed to sparkle.

Equipment

I use a Canon t8i and the lens I used is a Canon Macro ef 100mm 1:2.8, hand held squatting to get a straight head on perspective.

Inspiration

I love the sparkle in raindrops and frost.

Editing

I use PS express on my phone for clarity and sharpening.

In my camera bag

Various lens, lens cleaning cloth, extra batteries and beef jerky (ever have a good shot ruined by a rumbly tummy?)

Feedback

Impatience plays no part in good photography.
