Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my grandfather's garden. He has a giant one, so it was a bit hard to find the perfect flower.

Time

I believe it was afternoon/dusk. I was with my cousin taking pictures, and then I saw the sun filtering through the flower's leaves and petals.

Lighting

I was just looking around to get some nice sunlight coming through the flower and from right above of it and under it.

Equipment

I used a Sony DSC-HX300 camera with f/3.5. Nothing else was used except the sun's light.

Inspiration

Nothing really inspires me most times, but I think this one time I really wanted to get a good picture to remember my grandfather's garden by, because we live far away from them.

Editing

I hardly ever edit my photos.

In my camera bag

I usually carry my camera, two extra batteries, an extra lens cap, an extra memory card and a lens cleaning cloth.

Feedback

Get the angle you want. You need to get the sun coming in from above and under, but also through the flower.
