This gentleman was working with the National Park Service, who runs the mill area, as a volunteer. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the mill and other pioneer crafts.Editing

I usually carry my Canon EOS 6D mark II, along with my 17-40mm/f.4L, my 25-105mm/f.4L, and my 100-400mm/f4.5-5.6L lenses. Also usually carry my Lensball, as you never know when a creative moment might pop up.Feedback
I would say to definitely ask people if you can take their picture. It seems rude to just snap a picture of someone without their consent.
