Goldcrest - A really good challenging subject to frame is the tiny Goldcrest. Alongside the Firecrest, they are the smallest bird(s) in Europe. Coniferous woodland or parks with large mature trees are the best places to see goldcrests. Be warned though, they are notoriously quick moving little birds which don't often keep still.
