Mossyrock Dam is an engineering marvel.
There’s no doubt the #Mossyrock dam is strong. How Strong? It forms 23 mile Riffe Lake with enough concrete to fill 127,000 dump trucks. The dam is 27 ft thick at the top and 115 feet thick at the base. This is Washington States tallest dam at 606 feet from it’s base in bedrock.
