This was taken at Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio.Time
I took this photo in the afternoon. It was raining for hours, and I was the only person there. I made sure to get there with enough time before the sun went down.Lighting
I think I got lucky with the lighting. I drove through a few storms to get here, so the timing wasn’t what I had expected, and I hiked quite a ways in the rain and ended up with this shot.Equipment
I used my Canon Rebel and Tameron wide angle lens, along with my tripod.Inspiration
I was on a road trip to the east coast, and I had seen photos of this national park and planned a side trip for the day to go to Ohio, specifically for this waterfall. It exceeded all of my expectations!Editing
