Location
This photo was taken on my property after watching the fawn walk into the gated area. Momma doe was already in the fenced acreage.Time
This was around 8:30 am. Usually the deer are in hiding by this time, maybe the little fawn just wanted to explore some more.Lighting
In this case I just used the available light that coming from easterly sun. My property is all old growth oak, popular and hickory.Equipment
Shot was taken with my Nikon D90 18/300 Nikkor lens.Inspiration
I'm Always on the look out for interesting subject matter on sure enough it came to me this time. Couldn't pass up the opportunity.Editing
I wanted to have the fawn stand out so I kept her in her original colors and changed the background to black and white. In my camera bag
Normally I have both my Nikon D90 and my Nikon D7100 with various nikkor lens. Shoot mainly with 18 to length needed.Feedback
For wild life, always be aware of you surroundings and be stealthy as you walk your trail. A good picture should present itself aventually.
