Having access to the launch field at the balloon festival allowed us to get a close appreciation of the technicalities involved in preparing the balloons for mass ascension. In this particular photo, a young woman (from one of the balloon riding teams) is holding the balloon with a large rope as it is being inflated on the opposite side. It caught my attention how she wrapped the rope around her body for a better grasp. ???? One thing becomes clear in these balloon events: team work is crucial for a successful and timely launch!
