Location
I am originally from Bordeaux and have lived in Switzerland for 17 years and that summer, I took advantage of my vacation to visit the "route des châteaux du Médoc". I took this photo in the wine cellar of Château de Beychevelle.Time
It was August, it was very hot outside and cool inside.Lighting
In the cellar, the soft and warm light on the wooden barrels gave perfect lighting.Equipment
I shot with a Fuji FinePix F485.Inspiration
There was a cathedral atmosphere in this cellar. I wanted to convey this intimate, even contemplative atmosphere.Editing
I didn't do any extensive post-processing, just slightly increased the warm tones and cropped the photo to bring out the alignment of the barrels. In my camera bag
For the past few weeks, I have been trying to improve my photography practice by mastering more the technical aspect. I have a Canon EOS 70D with 2 lenses: a fixed 50mm and an EFS 18-200mm.Feedback
I don't really feel like an expert at giving advice, but feel free to take your camera out as often as possible to capture moments you want to share.
