I took this photo just outside my bedroom window one fine morning.Time
I have this habit of peeping outside the window every morning as soon as I wake up to look at the newly bloomed flowers ???? ???? That's how I love to start my day. I found this nomad resting on the bud. I was too tempted to take a picture, but I just decided to enjoy the moment. To my surprise, the dragonfly was still in the same position even when I came back after 2 hours, as if it was waiting for me to take a picture.Lighting
The available natural light did all the magic.Equipment
I just used a 5D Mark II camera with a 70-200mm lens. I used no tripod or flash.Inspiration
My flower garden never disappoints me. I love to watch these tiny creatures who are busy in their own world. These tiny insects always inspire me to go pick up my camera and take some nice pictures.Editing
Yes! I did a bit of colour correction and cropping to get a closer feeling. In my camera bag
I usually carry a 5D Mark II camera, 70-200mm, 16-35mm and 28-135mm lenses. Definitely, a raincoat for the bag to protect the gadgets. I keep a dust blower just in case.Feedback
Do not harm these small living beings in the process of getting the best shots. Shoot them as they are without disturbing them.
