Off the footpath on the side of a sandstone cliff in the beautiful upper peninsula of Michigan.Time
It was early evening on a wooded hike to see some spring rushing falls.Lighting
I am an amateur photographer, and only use the natural light or my camera flash.Equipment
I used my nikon coolpix digital camera for this shot. Nothing special just a couple batteries and a quick snap finger.Inspiration
As we walked the narrow footpath along the cliff I wanted to show the drop if someone were to slip. It's a very disorienting experience. Just looking at the photo brings back swaying in my equilibrium.Editing
I did a little post processing by adjusting the lights coolness to give the truest color of the natural beauty.In my camera bag
I have my nikon coolpix, cell phone, and a snappy trigger finger. I would love to have more equipment but am unable to afford any. I'm lucky to have naturally good eye for photo snapping.Feedback
I try to take pictures of things I can feel. I can feel the drop off the cliff even though I'm not standing there anymore. If your heart jumps snap the finger and always have fun!
