Every year there are ice sculpture contests at this location. I had never seen them before and this was my first time. I wanted to capture the moment and show how beautiful it was. With the Mackinaw bridge in the background, it couldn't have been any more perfect!Editing

Best time in my opinion would be late morning or early afternoon. This was a cloudy day so you don't necessarily have to have sunlight, just enough light.
