Here is a xandid shot of two Amish ladies riding their horse-drawn carriage along the countryside roads in the town of Romulus in Upstate New York. The Finger Lakes region is flourishing with farms run by Amish and mennonite communities.

Amish from the Lancaster area of Pennsylvania began settling in the Seneca County towns of Romulus and Ovid in 1981. Extremely expensive land prices in Pennsylvania drove many to seek more affordable and plentiful land. The Romulus-Ovid area sits between Cayuga and Seneca Lakes in New York's Finger Lakes Region.
