Location
This photo is shot at the "Zaanse Schans", a Dutch heritage site with typically Dutch houses, windmills and provides great scenes in the right circumstances.Time
This was shot around 10.30PM, with the sun almost set. This caused the golden glow on the left side of the photo.Lighting
I was very lucky as there was no wind at all this evening and the lighting was just beautiful. I really love the reflection in this one and the bright and vivid colors of the sunset in the background. I just wish I had left some more 'breathing' space on the lower side of the reflection.Equipment
Canon EOS 80D + EF16-35 f/4L IS USM at 16mm on a tripodInspiration
I loved the look of the clean reflection, the bridge and the tree are in balance and with the colors of the sunset makes this just perfectEditing
I did a HDR stack on this photo, I shot 3 separate photo's with 3 different lightingIn my camera bag
Besides my 16-35 lens I normally carry my go-to lens Canon 24-105 f/4L as well. I do have a set of filters but hardly use them. Of course I always carry an extra SD card and battery in the bag.Feedback
Bring some DEET. You'll get eaten by the mosquitos otherwise.. I need to remember this for my next visit..
