Action Portrait Street Photography in Black and White. Taken during a peaceful clash of two protests that occurred despite the Coronavirus Pandemic in 2020 in Parliament Square on a glorious sunny Saturday. This bike protestor was a master of multitasking , snapping himself and updating his profile while cycling through the throng of other protestors without breaking a sweat or loosing his cool. I took the range of shots at this event on my vintage Olympus OM2SP with a high ISO to create a grainier magazine editorial , retro style to the images as a creative choice. I enjoy creating this style of shot in my street Photography using this rather unorthodox process rather than doing the work in a lightroom , this process then includes reshooting the original print , again on high ISO rather than scanning it so all of the manipulation and post processing is done using equipment . I just enjoy seeing how far I can take the creative process with the camera itself , as an art tool . Conceptual Art Portrait Photography in an urban setting .
