USA, Southern California, Pacific Palisades. The" Spotted Towhee" is a beautiful bird found in Western USA. The Spotted Towhee is a sparrow that is seen mostly in the shrubs and low trees. The bird is heard before seen with sounds of rapid chirping . Ai-servo is helpful to capture the rapid speed and erratic behavior. The photo was taken when the bird was looking for food on the ground. I took this photo in" one shot " The bird was still and I loved how the sunlight sparkles in the bird's red eye! The Spotted Townee is native to the coast and the islands off the California coast.
