Abstract Architectural Art Photography. the title of this black and white architectural study , which was taken from a perspective to highlight repetition and the variety of patterns in the building , gives a clue to the buildings purpose. An old piece of beautiful Victorian British Utilitarian Architecture typical of the style of the area of Liverpool and the Wirral, the structure has been a type of state hospital, an Asylum, later a private school and now a Home for the Elderly. It is not suprising that some of its residents over hundreds of years would have found this fire escape to be their only escape from insanity.
