USA, California, Malibu- This wild bird is an "American Coot" seen at the Malibu Lagoon. Many birds stop st this lagoon when migrating I have never seen this bird before. Evidently the huge feet are not often seen except in flight. Researching this bird I read that it has red eyes. I was lucky to see the feet so to see the eyes would be pushing it.
