Intimate Moment in a day in the life of a bee at his work sipping nectar from the heavy headed bluebells in the wild habitat space in my garden. Taken just after sunrise giving the image a soft and gentle light which added a rosy hue to the natural colour tones of the bee as it moved. Taken from ground level using Macro settings and an add on lens cover with continuous shooting the aim was not to get the closest shot but the clearest detail in a creative composition . This was also enhanced by the selective focus on the flowers in the region that the bee was visiting , the macro technique adding to the shallow depth and smoothing the blurred background.
