Fort de la Chartreuse is a great place to urbexen. It was built by the Dutch and came into the hands of the Belgians in 1830. The fort has a good strategic location and was heavily under fire by German soldiers during the first and second world war. During the second world war, the Germans used this vacant fortress as a prison. Since 1980, the fort has been released and since then nature has taken over.
