According to an old legend, Zwarte Kaat is buried under the mysterious tree on Landgoed Ten Vorsel. Black Kaat wasn't exactly a charming woman. Tradition has it that she was the leader of a gang of smugglers. One day Black Kaat stole the child of the landlord of Landgoed Ten Vorsel. Years later she was arrested and beheaded for this, so the story goes.
