Location
This photo was taken at a New Jersey beach on a rock jetty.Time
This photo was taken in early morning.Lighting
There was a storm brewing so the waves were more intense and the lighting was even and filtered because of the cloud coverage.Equipment
I used my phone - Samsung Galaxy S10.Inspiration
I was enjoying the cool breeze when I saw some seagulls searching for their breakfast in the rocks so I went closer to try and get some photos when I saw this bird was about to take off so I photographed him and at the perfect moment a wave crashed into the rocks spraying water into his flight path.Editing
Yes, I straightened the horizon first and sharpened the bird a little. I also adjusted the colors to increase some of the saturation because the photo looked too boring when it was all gray.In my camera bag
I have never taken my good cameras to the beach because I don't want to ruin them. When I go to the beach my only camera equipment is my phone, a lens cleaner, and a waterproof case!Feedback
When you are photographing something with your phone, try and get as close as possible to get a higher quality image. Also, take as many photos as you can! Especially with the bright lighting at the beach (outdoors) and the smaller phone screen you never know which shot will be the best and you don't want to look at your photo later and realize it was a little out of focus or not the best framing.
