Taken during a dawn walk near the Reservoir country paths in Llangefni on the Isle of Anglesey off the North Wales Mainland in the UK. An intimate moment between horse and rider and their relationship with the rural landscape taken from an abstract perspective. The shit was taken from a low POV using telephoto techniques as this capture the moment image was taken by chance from my viewing position on the footpath at the edge of the bridle path which was lower than the path being riden and slightly obscured by the scrub undergrowth . This blurred element in the foreground rather than undermining the image , I chose to put to good use to enhance the fstorytelling image and to make the viewer feel that they are also taking part in a chance encounter in the countryside. The original image was taken in colour but was slightly cropped to improve the composition and altered to black and white in post processing which adds to the gentle juxtaposition of action that evokes a feeling of stillness which can be less evident in the colour variation .
