I took this picture in the parking lot of a local supermarket. I was getting out of my car when a nice couple pulled in with this beautiful truck. When they got out of the truck I asked them if it was ok for me to take a picture of it. They said yes, it was ok.Time
I took this picture around noon. It was a nice, warm spring day and the sun was shining. That's a treat where I live!Lighting
I walked the truck to see what the best angle was. I really didn't have much of a choice as the sun was so strong.Equipment
I used a Canon M-100 with the kit lens. As there was plenty of light I shot this picture handheld.Inspiration
I love old cars and trucks. They have style and beauty not seen in today's automobiles. They are usually quite simple inside. I am reminded of what cars used to be like, no seat belts, push buttons for the radio, etc.Editing
I am quite new to photography and post-processing does not come easily to me. However, I spent quite a bit of time trying to reduce glare on the front of the truck.In my camera bag
Currently I carry a Pentax K-70 in my bag. I also carry a Pentax HD DA 55-300mm f4.5-6.3, a 50mm f1.7 manual and a DA 35mm f2.8 Macro limited lens. I try to get out before or after work, so I usually bring all three lenses. I have an extra SD card and battery, lens cleaner, cloth, a couple of zip lock bags, and depending on time of year, mittens.Feedback
Always have your camera with you and ready. You never know when you will see something beautiful that you want to take a picture of.
