It started as an overcast spring morning. The sun started to break around 9 am. Sunlight was filtered through the clouds and the tree giving the photo a pastel color.Equipment
I used a Canon EOS 7D Mark II and an 100-400 Canon L II lens.Inspiration
Warbling white eye, and many small birds, are fast movers. They go from leaf to leaf and/or flower to flower to hunt for insects. It is fun to try to keep up with them.Editing
Very little post-processing was done with only a camera raw program.In my camera bag
For wildlife, I use the 7D Mark II and the 100-400 lens; for everything else, I take a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV with a 24-105 and either a 16-35 or 70-200. I travel light - Canon EOS M.Feedback
Small birds are fast. One may need to take many shots to get a good photo. Be patient and keep clicking.
