Bees and cactus blooms are just a few of my favorite things!

I spent a day with this roadrunner at the River and it was magical.

The neighborhood is literally a buzz at each bloom.

Every cactus has an apartment or condo in nature.

I have watched these lovebirds for nearly a year, this week their newest spring babies arrived.

The Salt River in the Tonto National Forest in Arizona is home to hundreds of wild horses with the experience to kayak or tube right alongside them.

A resident hummingbird, I am always amazed each visit by the beauty that is.

It amazes me every flower to watch these busy bees do their thing.

Reminds me of my son in his younger years, see something sharp..give it a feel.

We returned to our exact campsite in Colorado one year later and went a new direction to explore and found waterfalls galore we had never seen on the

Ruby Throated Hummingbird for a visit before sun down.

Location

In Arizona, rain is not too common, so it seems we’re always outside once those drops come down. For this shot, I laid in the lawn in the water to capture the light on each blade of grass.

Time

It was evening time.

Lighting

The lighting from our patio shined down on the grass with such beauty combined with the rain drops.

Equipment

This was shot with an IPhone SE, no other equipment.

Inspiration

I always seek the light, in life and in photography.

Natural light to black and white.

My favorite camera is Sony a6100, though an iPhone will do when it’s not along.
