We went to the marketplace just once but I came away happy with the shots I took.

This beautiful place is in Two Harbors, Minnesota. I accidentally erased it from my laptop, but found it again in Google photos. Whew!

Hanging out at the zoo because he can't fly yet. At least, I think that's his story. Taken at Potter Park Zoo.

We were in a National Park which had areas to view Lake Michigan when I took this. There was a smaller, red one across from it.

Taken in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, US. I truly cannot remember which Lighthouse this is. I'll do some research and find out.

This cow was in the desert, snuggled into a small grassy area with a watering hole between the mountains. Nice cow. Good cow.

Location

I took this photo at Lake Lansing North Park in Haslett, MI.

Time

It was late morning, and I had just gotten a negative result on my covid test. I'd been in the house for 8 days. As soon as I got the word, I jumped in the car and drove the 20 minutes to Haslett.

Lighting

Lighting was au natural.

Equipment

I used Nikon D3400 DSLR. No tripod. I'm brand new to this good camera stuff. I don't know the lens. I'm going to take classes.

Inspiration

I wasn't even all the way into the park when I saw this shot. I pulled over and got out. I was still in a happy mood from being out and about. The capture spoke to me.

Editing

I didn't do any post-processing.

In my camera bag

Nikon D3400, and the 2 lenses that came with it, spare batteries, a spare SD card. Charger.

Feedback

It's all about the reflection. The light coming in through the trees looks ghostly. The sky was perfectly partly cloudy that day.
