Abstract Nature Art Composition . An intimate portrait of the Season of winter as experienced by the trees that surround a lake. Taken at Penrhos Coastal Park and Woodland Reserve near Holyhead , on the Isle of Anglesey , off the North Wales Mainland in the UK. The photograph was inspired by the stark beauty that I could see all around me on a particularly crisp winter morning when the ice was laden but felt beautifully comforting because of the reflection of beautiful Dawn light rising before my view. This image was a piece of Art created by Nature , not by Me , all I could try to do was capture the intricate beauty of the painting that was forming before me. Taken using telephoto lens from a high POV and Macro because of the nature of the ground ahead , I could not reach or step into the lake water. Each individual painting within Nature's collection of ice scenes I gobbled up eagerly with my camera knowing that I could never do it justice , each unique as the thinnest wisps of ice broke and dissolved under the slightest breathe of warmth from the morning sun. The trees appeared to bend and reflect on their own appearance , silhouetted in the watery mirror below , everything was still and calm yet constantly changing . Landscape Abstract .
