Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in hope islands in jakarta. I waited long enough for this moment and I record it on top of my friend's fish cages.

Time

at that time I was waiting from 6pm sitting on farmed fish my friend, I set up the camera without a tripod. although a long time and a lot of mosquitoes, but I was patient to capture the moment

Lighting

I capture the moment using only natural lighting. with aperture f8, iso 100 ,and shutter speed 1/250 setting on my camera.

Equipment

this was shoot with my old camera Canon 7d and canon 17-55 f2.8 IS USM

Inspiration

i always inspired with the ocean and the sky, the sunset is so beautiful and warm

Editing

i always process my photo in RAW format use Lightroom and Photoshop, use the software to process the white balance, colour tone

In my camera bag

I always bring some equipment and gear in my bag such Canon 5d mark III , Canon 17-40 f4 mm, Canon 24-70 f2.8 USM II mm, Canon 70-200 f2.8 IS USM II, Canon 580 EXII, some ND and CPL filter, Tripod, Extra Battery, Extra MemoryCard

to capture the photo sunset and sunrise must pay attention to the time of sunset and sunrise. came to the venue of photo before sunset and sunrise time in order to determine the good angle and photo. should use a tripod and shoot in RAW format. pick up on the photo as much according discoloration on the sunset sky.
