The tiny world of lichen and moss , a new planet explodes upon every post , rock or wall. This particular evolving and vividly beautiful mini ecosystem inhabits the overlooked top of a thin wooden fence post that creates a set of railings by the source of the freshwater tributary to the ' Inland Sea' at the basin of my village of Llanfachraeth on the Isle of Anglesey off the North Wales Mainland in the UK. Macro Nature Photography taken as part of an ongoing project of abstract art focusing on the wonderful natural creations of Animate and Inanimate life living symbiotically in our surroundings .
