Behind The Lens

Location

This is from Spring, Texas. Out of my backyard a day after the large storm that swept Texas.

Time

Sunrise, the exact time I couldn't tell you. The dogs were itching to get out of the house. So before work I was able to get this snap.

Lighting

It's no secret the Sunrise is Texas can be amazing and this was no exception. The light against the clouds made a great picture

Equipment

This was handheld and with the closest camera, my Nikon D5600. Unsure of the lens I used.

Inspiration

Just the pure beauty of this sunrise. After having no power or water for multiple days it was nice to see something that makes you feel warm.

Editing

I shoot raw so I have the ability. Some small edits made to this.

In my camera bag

I carry a wide range of lenses and some extra batteries. I was taught long ago when I use to shoot film that I should have my camera close no matter where I go. I try my best to keep doing that. So my bag is always with most of my gear.

Feedback

Timing is something you need. This was a right time right place deal but sunrise shots are always timing. Make sure you know basics and work your settings.
