The Galah, also known as the Rose Breasted Cockatoo, is one of the most common and widespread cockatoos, and it can be found in open country in almost all parts of mainland Australia. Rose Breasted Cockatoo’s need lots of attention and can be great pets.

I met this Galah in a bird aviary and he wanted to become my photographer's assistant - making adjustments on my tripod controls.
