This was a most unusual find. After hours of research and some help from the wonderful people at Fungi Magazine we finally came up with a plausible explanation about this scenario. This is a Gilled Bolete (Phylloporus rhodoxanthus) with Bolete Mold (Hypomyces Chrysospermus). The liquid drops or "sweat" is known as guttation and can be caused by rapid growth, changes in humidity and-or certain molds. The question of what caused this mushroom to sweat remains, as boletes do not normally sweat, nor does Bolete Mold cause sweating. However, fungal guttation is not well documented at this time so we don't have much to compare it to.
